"Nonviolent communication" is a concept introduced by Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph.D. in his book Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life. It's often referred to as compassionate communication. Put it simply, it's a communication style that empowers individuals to be positive and support each other.
